Canberra, famous for its bushland setting, is beautiful in Spring. It is the home of many of Australia’s greatest attractions including the National War Memorial, the National Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery, the National Museum of Australia, Questacon, the Institute of Sport, Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve and much more. There are also plenty of opportunities to explore the beauty of the Parliamentary zone and Lake Burley Griffin by foot or by bike as the hotel is situated close to this area. Canberra is easy to get around by car, bike or on foot. Canberra is renowned for its restaurants as the politicians and their entourages you send us all seem to be very fussy about their food.

Our Keynote Speaker is Drury R. Reavill, DVM Diplomate ABVP, certified in Avian Practice, Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Pathologists. Dr. Reavill joined Dr. Schmidt and the Zoo/Exotic Pathology Service in 1997. With over 20 years of experience in avian and exotic clinical practice, laboratory diagnostics and pathology, Drury is skilled in the medicine and surgery of birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, insects, and a wide variety of exotic mammals.

The conference will be held at the Marque Hotel, 102 Northbourne Ave, Canberra.
